Certain products on our website offer special ordering options through Pre-Order and Special Orders. These options allow our customers to reserve sought-after, hard-to-find items or to request items that are no longer in stock but can be obtained "specially" for you. Below, we explain the distinctions between these options and what you can anticipate when placing such orders.
Pre-orders
By making a pre-order, you are reserving a product that is currently out of stock or expected to be available soon, but is not yet in our inventory. One of the benefits of pre-ordering is that you ensure your spot in line for the item, which will be shipped to you as soon as it arrives at our Boise, ID location. To facilitate a swift and seamless process, we will collect the full payment at checkout, and your order will be marked as "pre-order" waiting for stock.
You can cancel a "pre-order" item as long as it has not yet been fulfilled. If the order has been fulfilled, then you can't cancel the order, but you can process a Product Return: Request a Return. All returns are subject to Product Return: Fees .
Special Orders
When you place a Special Order, you are requesting a product that is not part of our regular inventory but can be ordered. These items are typically older products that we offer to customers who wish to bring life back to an old GPU or CPU. To ensure a quick and efficient process, we will gather the complete payment during checkout, and your order will be designated as "special-order," pending stock.
You can cancel a "special order" item as long as it has not yet been fulfilled. If the order has been fulfilled, then you can't cancel the order, but you can process a Product Return: Request a Return. All returns are subject to Product Return: Fees .
